Boneworks Dev Teases Upcoming Game Progress For Quest 2

Stress Level Zero developer Brandon J. Laatsch teased the progress of the studio’s upcoming game on Twitter, reaffirming that it will be coming to Quest 2, PC VR and potentially even PSVR 2.

the Laatsch’s initial tweet indicated that he was playing with the game and preparing images, which may be released in the future. Here is the full tweet:

Upcoming game presentation progress update: we’re playing through versions of what we intend to show / film on a daily basis. The frame rate is 90% of the way. Requires sound, sequence and stage polish and some bugs. I spent an hour messing around with three bodies on an escalator last night.

It’s unclear if the “ next game ” Laatsch is referring to is the previously announced Boneworks spinoff at Quest, or something else. We know the studio has several projects going on.

In one follow-up reply tweet, Laatsch revealed that the game in question would come to “Quest 2 and PC VR” with a “decent chance” of PSVR 2, if they had any development material. It was previously revealed that the game will launch for Quest and PC VR.

In another tweet, a user suggested that the game could be released within the next 2 years, to which Laatsch replied “sure bet. “

We’ve reached out to Stress Level Zero to find out if this “ next game ” is actually the Boneworks spin-off announced for Quest at Oculus Connect 6, and if the game will be released only for Quest 2 or for both Quest headsets. We will update this article if we receive a response.

The studio has promised that information on their upcoming projects will be given this year, so hopefully with Laatsch’s latest tweets we’re on our way to something juicy.

Looking forward to the next Stress Level Zero game? Let us know in the comments.
