Delete After Reading is a new adventure from the developer behind Unmemory

Barcelona-based indie developer Patrones & Escondites has announced their latest creation. It’s called Delete After Reading and should land on Android at some point in the not-too-distant future. You might recognize the developer as the team behind the excellent Unmemory.

The game sees you find a strange device with a file marked deleted after playing – hey, that’s the name of the game! It’s about trying to rewrite the mistakes Destiny made and having a lot of fun in the process.

You join a group of kids to sneak into a mansion and steal the only remaining copy of The Curse of Penguin Island, which is apparently one of the most influential games of all time. Here is a short trailer. To Delete after reading, not the game invented in the game.

There are five chapters to go through, and you’re going to have to read a lot and be careful to complete them all. There are plenty of puzzles to solve and the game jumps between genres with aplomb.

So you have a visual novel, an escape room, a point-and-click adventure, a puzzle game and more, all wrapped up in one beautiful package that also includes a full voice cast .

Delete After Reading sounds really interesting, and we’re excited to get our hands on it. When we hear anything else about the game, we’ll be sure to let you know.
