A teaser in Far Cry 6 could point to a brand new Far Cry game.
At least that’s what a new video from famous Ubisoft content creator JorRaptor estimates. In the very brief video, the player approaches two QR codes in Far Cry 6 and scans them using their in-game smartphone, causing a very brief trailer to appear teasing what looks like several players, tigers, etc. Could this really be a multiplayer Far Cry game?
The creator of the video clearly believes that this is a new Far Cry game teased in Far Cry 6 itself, which is quite an intriguing game from Ubisoft. On the flip side, some YouTube viewers believe this is actually a reference to the upcoming villain-centric DLC for Far Cry 6, especially for Pagan Min, who was very fond of putting tigers on them. people of Far Cry 4.
It looks like viewers will be waiting a while longer to know for sure what this new Far Cry 6 teaser refers to. The next installment in Ubisoft’s shooting saga is due out later this week on October 7 and sees the protagonist Dani fight against the domineering forces of Anton Castillo, a ruthless dictator with all the threat you would expect from a villain played by Breaking Bad and Better Call Giancarlo Esposito de Saul.
When Far Cry 6 launches later this week, it will offer buyers a completely free next-gen upgrade regardless of which version of the game they purchase. If you’re playing on Xbox One or PS4, you’re guaranteed a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or PS5 version of Far Cry 6. Although Ubisoft’s new game actually removes the launch of spokes for all new consoles, restricting it entirely to the PC version, it will deliver a smooth 60fps performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
