$ 60 for a controller, a Chromecast AND a game
Stadia might not be the stunt its fiercest defenders want it to be, but it continues to improve, while adding new games on a regular basis. If your interest in Google’s cloud gaming strategy has been piqued deeply, now is a great time to jump on board. By purchasing a full-priced game, you’ll get a free Stadia Premiere Edition kit, usually priced at $ 80 alone. It’s far from the first time the company has offered free material to potential players, but this time it’s one of its more exciting options to date.
Unsurprisingly, there are some restrictions with this case. When we say “full price” we mean $ 59.99 – low-priced indie titles won’t work here no matter how good the game is. Fortunately, it’s not capped at $ 60, so if you spot a deluxe edition of a game you were dying to buy, it will work for this offer.
If you purchase a qualifying title, you’ll receive a code on October 20 to claim your free Stadia Premiere kit. Google cautions that shipping charges may apply, although no additional information has been given on this. This code is only active for one month, so be sure to redeem it before November 20. This offer is limited to one per user, six per household.
Assuming these terms are right for you, there are plenty of great choices out there in the Stadia Marketplace. Pre-ordering is the obvious choice here, as these games have yet to sell for lower prices elsewhere. Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six: Extraction, Riders Republic – all good choices if you are looking for something new.
If Ubisoft games aren’t your thing, there are still plenty of options worth buying. Life is Strange: True Colors, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Hitman 3, and Resident Evil: Village are all critically acclaimed games, and if you don’t have the current gen hardware to play them, this opportunity is a perfect chance.
Any $ 60 game will work, so to get your own Stadia Premiere Edition bundle, head over to The Google Showcase and choose the title that suits you. This offer is valid until October 10, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Anyone residing in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Austria and in Switzerland is eligible.
