“Russell Westbrook rating drops to 84 on NBA 2K22”: Mr. Triple-Double’s video game ratings lower than Tobias Harris and Khris Middleton

The 2K video game giant is raising Russell Westbrook’s ratings from 86 to 84 in NBA 2K22. The former MVP and all-time triple-doubles leader is rated lower than LaMelo Ball and JA Morant.

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Russell Westbrook is one of the most despised players in the NBA today. The two-time scorers champion appears to have a section of haters who are leading a vendetta against him. The most recent case being his drop in the NBA 2K ratings.

Brodie is currently averaging 20.2 PPG, 8.4 RPG and 8.1 APG on 44.4% shooting from the field. The Lakers point guard has had a tough start to the season alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. However, as the season progresses, Westbrook only gets better.

Surprisingly, a recent statistic revealed that Westbrook shot better on the field than Stephen Curry, Devin Booker and Donovan Mitchell. Brodie has a better 3-point percentage than Damian Lillard, Trae Young and Bradley Beal this season.

Russell Westbrook’s 2K rating drops.

Westbrook is currently the most scrutinized player in the league, especially after joining King James and AD in LA. In all likelihood, this is Brodie’s best chance at winning a championship, the one thing missing from his Hall of Fame CV.

Over the years, Westbrook has been under the radar for his inability to shoot the ball. The former MVP is a career shooter 30.5% off the 3-point line. Despite being the all-time triple-double leader, the accusations of being a thug refuses to die.

NBA 2K22 recently released their updated rankings list in light of the new season launching a few weeks ago. One of the players who received a drop in ratings was Westbrook, whose rating dropped from 86 to 84.

Some of the reasons for the drop could be the Lakers’ difficult start to the season and Westbrook’s date with turnovers. While the nine-time All-Star isn’t the only one whose ratings have dropped, Westbrook scoring lower than Tobias Harris and Khris Middleton is hard to digest.
