Wayne Brady to visit Inkwell Isle for Netflix The Cuphead Show.
During its Geeked Week event, Netflix revealed that the Talent game the host will join the animated video game series as the villainous King Dice. The character of Brady is the manipulative right arm of the Devil.
The Cuphead Show! will develop the characters and the game world, with an animation style inspired by classic Fleischer cartoons of the 1930s. Cup head comes from Studio MDHR and is widely known for its wild boss brawls, challenging gameplay, and most importantly, hand-animated retro styling.
The comedy series follows the unique misadventures of the impulsive Cuphead and his cautious but easily influenced brother Mugman. Through their many misadventures across their surreal homeland of the Inkwell Islands, they have always supported each other.
The series will be produced by Netflix Animation and is produced by Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts). CJ Kettler will be executive producer of King Features, with Cup head creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer are Studio MDHR’s EPs. Cosmo Segurson is co-executive producer.
